Get Published: Print Your Own Physical Book Like a Bonified Pro

Last Update: April 08, 2011

Amazing that there are so many opportunities online to publish your own creations, whether it is a coffee table book, a tee shirt, anything printed.

I love physical product, so this site has me psyched.

Check out www.blurb.com

At blurb.com, you can make your own photo book. I haven't used this resource yet, but you can be sure I'm going to try it out. They do quality printing and binding, hardcover and softcover paperbacks, different trim sizes, offer free bookmaking tools, free tutorials.

You can make one book or many books, 4 color printing, and prices start at $2.95. You can set your price and sell your book/s in the Blurb Bookstore if you want. You keep the markup. They also have all sorts of marketing tools as well.

No, I am not profiting moneywise with this tip, just friendship. It's just a nod to something that looks interesting to me.  I know many of you are doing e books, so you might want to offer a bound book to your customers.

Cheers, J

I still love my physical books. I like the feeling of crawling up on the couch with coffee, cookies, and a good book in hand. I have not developed that relationship with a kindle yet and I cannot carry my desktop computer to the couch with me to read my e-books there either. I don't think that the physical book will ever go out completely. But, I didn't think tape cassettes would either. lol

You're welcome. You can do something wonderful with this resource. There are still people who want an actual physical book, and you have the option to do a paperback or a bound book with a hard cover. I would test just one to make sure the quality is good. I hear they are excellent.
