Head over to the blogger's Twitter accounts to see who they are following. If it's only a few people, then those people are probably the leaders in your niche. Check them out.

Staying organized can be a problem.  Use an RSS reader to keep a record of the blogs you follow.  This is a good way to stay on top of newly published content so you can read, comment, and share this info with your own readership.

Do you use Gmail? Then use Google Reader to keep tabs on all blogs you are following.  Login to your Gmail account. At the top of the page, click "Reader."  Click "add a subscription" and enter in the RSS Feed URL of the blog you want to follow. Click "add." Done!
Mark all current content as "read" so you can be updated with new content.
