Plodding Along

Last Update: January 05, 2010

So it's been a few weeks since I joined the WA University, and I've got to say, I'm completely and thoroughly addicted!

I've always enjoyed writing, and so article marketing was where I started. It's a perfect fit for me, because I was already looking at taking some writing courses at the local college for fun this winter, but figured there was no real profit in freelance writing for beginners.  The profit in IM for writers seems to be much higher!

So far: I've submitted 5 articles to Ezine, with no rejections as of yet. I've read that ezine always has to be first, so I'm waiting to get each one approved before submitting them to other article directories. I've made 4 Squidoo lenses, but they aren't too popular yet. I do enjoy making them! I've learned about bookmarking, I've created a domain that forwards to my click-bank affiliate site, and I've gotten top listings under google when I enter my keywords. So far, so good! Thanks to the members of the WA Forum for the fabulous advice!

No sales yet, unfortunately. It's not really getting me down though, because I'm thoroughly convinced that they will come at some point. It's a numbers game, after all! I'm going to keep plodding along! (It being a very slow time at my current work place has it's benefits... I've already written and submitted 2 articles today while at work!!)

That's it for now... going to browse the forum for a bit. I like following the advice for newbies that I read somewhere early in... 50% action, 50% learning.
