Oops, It's Time to Back Track!

Open Mouth, Insert Foot, Swallow

So my last blog post, I mentioned that I was going to start working on my own product.  Well shortly after that, I realized that I just don't have the resources, including capital, to do that.  In addition, I want it perfect and I really want to help people.  If I started it now, I would be rushing it.

See, I want money and I want money now!  I think that this is such a hot niche that I can launch a product and it will be awesome.  The problem is that I'm not guaranteed success.  Therefore, I need to MAKE SURE that I have a quality product.

I'm working on my list right now (8 subscribers - YES!) and I think that you only get one shot with a list.  If I spend three months working on a product that is garbage and pitch it to my list....well you get the point.

I think that I slow my roll a bit and keep on trucking.  Sometimes my brain gets ahead of what's realistic and it causes me to say things like "I'm gonna launch my own product today!"

Now I will get this product out there, but I am going to wait until I get a better understanding of everything.  While I have seen some successes, I am not where I want to be.

I am no delaying this out of laziness, but out of judgment.  I am still going to work on it, but here and there.  I don't want to stop what I am doing now.  If I stop aff. marketing now and then bomb on my product, chances are I will be so pissed that I won't come back!

Anyway, it always sucks when you're wrong, but it happens!  I'll get it done, just not today!

I don't know if I will be back before tomorrow, so I want to wish EVERYONE at WA a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday for us here in the States.

Yup I'm the same. I've actually got a product ready to market, but its very cutting edge and will take a lot of work to realise any gain, so I'm focusing on the here & now cash from article marketing first. That cash can then be reinvested.
Good luck

I know what you mean about getting one chance, but even if that's true it's 8 subscribers out of an infinite possibility. If you think your product is rubbish then it probably is. I wouldn't try to sell anything that I wouldn't feel good about purchasing for myself. Not that my target market is actually myself, but others who are at least similar in mindset or maybe a past mindset of my own. What I believe is failure is inevitable. If you try to avoid it you'll miss the opportunity to succeed, for sure. If you respond to the failure in a way that benefits the next attempt, again and again, I think it's inevitable that you will succeed. Another thing is you have to know specifically what you want to get accomplished. I fully expect to fail, thus I know I'll eventually succeed.
