$5,000+ in March 2011!
Last month, March 2011, was a wonderful one for residual income through my online writing and affiliate marketing.
My eHow.com articles, written in 2007-2009 for the eHow Writers Compensation Program (WCP), did exceptionally well, and counted for my best month there to date. Unfortunately, the WCP program is no longer open to new articles, so it's not a viable option for increasing my online income or for those new to online writing who would otherwise enjoy writing there.
Affiliate marketing efforts are paying off for me, especially in two niches: the sales through Commission Junction come almost entirely from my home/ family niche and the ones from Clickbank this month were all from a pets niche site.
My Amazon.com Associates sales are from many sources, across a wide variety of niches.
Here's how my income stacked up for March 2011:
- eHow.com residuals $2,928.95
- Commission Junction $1,009.28
- Google Adsense $689.81
- Amazon Associates $407.98
- Clickbank $199.03
- Wealthy Affiliate $179.00
- Demand Studios rev share $127.95
- R-Affiliates $127.40
- NB Affiliates $39.92
- eHow #2 $11.71
TOTAL $5,721.03
I work about 2-3 hours per day, typically in the early morning (5-8 am) because I am a stay at home mom and I home schooled my young children this past year (athough I am planning/ hoping to send them to a private school this fall.)
I did not get here overnight -- I've been working to build up my residual income for more than three years and it's been a slow process in some ways. However, it's still amazing to both my husband and myself that my earnings represent a full-time income at this point, even while I continue to work only part-time.
What started out as extra to help with our debt snowball or grocery money has now turned into a viable small business. And you can do it too -- just follow the training here at WA and keep working every single day at it.
