Anyone Thirsty?
This past weekend, I made the trek back to the homeland - Chicago.
Now it's only about 110 miles from my place in Wisconsin to Chicago, but NO ONE can predict that God-awful Chicago traffic....
It took me about three hours to get back home - that sucked!!
But I noticed something rather interesting and it made me say, "huh?".
As I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, there was an older guy with raggedy clothes walking up and down the street.
He was selling water.
I thought to myself, "My goodness, this guy has it figured out!". Sitting in traffic for an hour in Chicago will not only make you want to shoot yourself, but it can also make you REALLY THIRSTY!
This guy found his "thirsty" market !! He could provide what none of us could get and that was water! He was selling a $1.00 bottle of water for $2.00!!!
I naturally didn't buy it because I hate paying for water, but still -
Smart guy....
How's that for a lesson?
I think we all complicate things to much from time to time. How can we give people what they can't get on their own?
That is finding your niche!
Now go back and find that thirsty crowd.
