Week 1 - WA Article Marketing Club

Last Update: January 24, 2011

I am so glad that I applied and was accepted into the club!  Thanks a million Kyle, Carson, and Marcus!

I love the structure and the straightforward tasks for each day.

This first week has opened my eyes to a BIG issue that I've had up until now.

I was trying to do too much and ended up doing a whole lot of nothing.  On top of that, I would be irritated that I seemed to be putting in all this time but not having much to show for it.

Now, with week one under my belt, I'm feeling peaceful.

I'm not behind on my tasks.

I'm focused on a sigular goal.

I'm making steady progress.

And best of all, I feel good!

I'm happy about my progress, I'm not stressing out about trying to do 100 things all in one day, and I'm excited about the possibilities.  I know that when I get to day thirty, I will have built something good from the ground up.  AND, I can start the whole 30 days over and do it again with a new niche!

I also know that the things I struggled with in the past are getting easier for me.  I'm getting more efficient at my tasks.  Article structure is becoming second nature.  So I can write a pretty decent article in much less time.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm feeling much better about my journey.  I'm learning to enjoy it instead of just wishing for some future bliss.

I'm realizing that all the stuff that was so hard for me months ago isn't so hard any more.  And that anything I'm willing to work at consistently, won't be tough forever.

I'm learning that overwhelming yourself is a sure way to kill your spirit.   Just because I can't write 20 articles a day, work 8 hours, and take care of my family and home doesn't mean that I'm somehow inadequate or being lazy.

I take pleasure in knowing that I'm making consistent steady progress.  I'm keeping up in the club and I feel darn good about it!  And this consistent progress will lead me to the day when those 8 hours working will be my own.  And maybe then I WILL write 20 articles a day!

Best of the best to you all!
