Hi Linda - I am sorry that you are struggling. I will give you the instructions for doing this, but if you can't do it - send me a private message with your login details and I will do it for you.
1. Go to GoDaddy and login
2. Select "Domains" (from greeen bar) and select "Domain Management" from the drop down menu
3. Click in the box next to your domain name
4. Select "Namesevers" (from the bar above your domain name and choose "Set Nameservers" (from the drop down menu
5. Select "I have specific nameservers for my domain"
6. Type in ns1.mywahosting.com (in the first box) and ns2,mywahosting.com (in the second box)
7. Click OK
8. Your domain name will now be pointed towards Wealthy Affiliate. It says it takes on average 2 hrs to move

Hi Linda, just am back from being away for 2 days. Wanted to encourage you and say hang in you will eventually get there. I can see below that some experienced people gave you good advice; I just wanted to add emotional support cause I know how confusing it seems for new ones like us. I somehow have managed to get to the point of creating my first several blog pages and it was a hard-won struggle, and I'm not entirely sure how I got there. Next one I create I'm going to write down every single thing I figure out! I'll check in with you tomorrow.

Hi Linda, DNS stands for Domain Name Server. That's the "address" where your website will reside. When you purchase your domain name, say from GoDaddy you have to tell them that WA is hosting your website and the addresses are (you need 2)
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
If you haven't purchased it yet you can change them during that process. If you've already bought one you can go back and change them but it helps to know who you bought it from as the steps may differ... I'm familiar with GoDaddy, but others here can help if it's someone else. Just let us know.

Thanks Kyle I just looked through that. I guess I'm scaring myself as this is all very new to me. I'm sure it will make sense once I go through the steps.

DNS = domain name server. This is how you tell your domain registrar (where you bought your domain) where to point to to find the files (hosting) which is here at WA.

You have to first buy the domain. After you buy the domain you will update your DNS settings to:

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
