There once was a bucket half filled with live crabs. They were climbing all over each other and a few were attempting to reach the top to gain freedom from the confined space. But every time one of the crabs reached the rim of the basket, another crab would reach out a claw and pull it back in. One crab, named Wayne, was teetering on the rim and managed to fall out just as another crab was preparing to strike. Wayne made it out of the basket! WooHoo!!!Since you are here at WA, I will assume you a

For Newbies visiting chat for the first time...(The rest of you can skip this post and not miss anything :)I really wanted to call this blog post The Dreaded Chat Monsterbut for the sake of those this blog is directed at, I titled it in the hopes that WA newbies would easily find it.Because...I see newbies in chat all the time and we welcome them. However, all newbies need to know a little something about a chat glitch. Sometimes chat stops loading new comments so you may type in a comment and

I get so many emails telling me about new blog posts at WA and new articles at Street Articles that it made it difficult to find any other emails in my inbox. So, about a month ago, (June 29 th be exact) I decided to create a new email account just for WA and SA. It's no wonder I couldn't find the others! The total number of emails generated since I began this account less than a month ago.has now reached over 500! This is for the newbies I see coming to WA every day. Since y'all seem to be floundering at first, just want to give you a little inspiration by saying... Jump Right In - The Water's Fine! There are plenty of Lifeguards here at WA so don't be afraid to get your feet wet. Don't just stand at the water's edge fearful of wading out into deeper water. Don't let the waves deter you from getting beyond them to where the water is deeper. It's calmer out there. At times you wil

Firebug Addon from FirefoxI have a pesky bug problem. Actually, I don’t know if this type of bug is a good thing or a bad thing. And because it may take some explanation, I’m blogging about it instead of chatting.Last week Firefox asked me if I wanted to have an add-on from them called Firebug. I have no idea what I was doing at the time to prompt this message from Firefox but I’m sure I hit on something I didn’t mean to or was curious about. Now, every time I go somewher

Well, I think I can now legitimately call myself a webmaster! At least to those not in the know like we are here at WA. All of my local clients, including me, are on the first page of Google Local maps. Some in the A bubble spot, some in C and D and one in D AND G for separate keywords. I feel much more confident about doing local now and feel I can command better money from it. These first few I considered guinea pigs so didn't charge enough. So now it's rinse and repeat time. One of the

I have a little story that came to mind while I was responding to another member's blog. It's just a story for motivation so I don't even know what tags to put with it...Anyway, here it goes....Two mice fell into a bucket of milk left out in a barn. The bucket was only half full so the mice couldn't reach the top to get back out of the bucket. They swam around and tried as hard as they might to escape certain peril. They kicked their tiny legs frantically in an effort to reach th
