Well it seems that the store is now falling apart at the seams! The General Manager quit the same day she fired me. Apparently someone had complained about her socialising every thursday with some of her "buddies". The store had failed an audit and she thought I was the one that reported her, but I was not.

They have been unable to recruit a new third hand, I was the 4th in under two years and the longest serving. It seems that the existing staff do not want to be next for the chop, and word on the street is that the job sucks.

I was in a local restaurant on thursday last week and the owner/manager asked me if the little hitler (my former boss) was still at Staples? Seems she had heard that she quit. I was a little surprised and she said you know the one with the short hair shorts and army boots! The GM wore steel toe caps when she worked in receiving to cover for staff who never turned up or who had quit due to the bullying work conditions.

Whilst I am still mad about the loss of the job at least I feel better now, and I had a 47% traffic increase to my WA site in the last week, so maybe things will start to look up. I have more time for blogging and articles etc. here's hoping.

Thanks to all for the encouragement and kind words. In future I will be writing more on how to make this WA thing work and what gets results at least for me.
