5 Places to Find Advertisers for Your Website

I was looking for new ways to find advertisers to my organic milk review site. Adsense does ok, but I think it would be more beneficial to team up with some relevant organic milk companies, which was my idea to do from the beginning.

Adsense is just too easy though and time fly... anyway I thought I would get around to start contacting some people about advertising on my site, so I needed some new ideas of where to find these advertisers.

The first thing I did was to add ”Advertise with us” in the menu. That way if someone comes across the site and are interested, they get some more info. Also this is the page I link to when I contact people.

I also added a Advertise Here banner box. I use OIO publisher which makes things easy. You set everything up and the advertiser can purchase an advertising spot without even contacting you.

That is all good if they are coming to you, but where do you look for advertisers...

5 Places to Find Advertisers for Your Website

1.Your own site - Who is linking to your site already? You can use Google Analytics to check this out, here is an article on it http://www.labnol.org/internet/find-incoming-links-with-analytics/21246/
There might be somebody interesting in advertising on your site, at least they know about your site already.

2. Advertising Networks - Advertisers who are spending money already are good candidates. Check out the advertising networks, buysellads.com is an example just visit the site and you get some of the advertisers listed right there.

3. Sites in your niche - Check out the sites in your niche that are using advertisers already.

4. Adsense Advertisers - Check out the Adsense advertisers, who are paying to advertise with Adsense already.

5. Social media - Check out the facebook ads and the sponsored tweets.

Better get started... got loads of companies to contact :)
