EDIT: version 1.0.3 is out, stable and with all known bugs sorted. Phew! Let me know if you come across anything!Sometimes I get too caught up in the moment.I have been working on a bug in AP Schema, that didnt affect how it worked, but made it look and act better.I finally cracked it today.Yey!I released an updated version.Only now several hours later have I noticed that the work to iron out the bug actually caused a more serious bug elsewhere on the site.I have had to revert the plugin back to

I don't normally write blog posts unless it is IM or Web Design related, but I need to rant a bit.A little while back I got a free LCD monitor, a small one, maybe 17-18" but it was perfect for me. It allowed me to have chat open and numerous other things whilst still being able to work, and being able to compare things without shrinking the browser/program window was a huge help to me.But now it died. And due to my current situation I can't justify purchasing a new one.I am sad. That is al

One thing in which all the top dog internet marketers agree, is that having a mailing list is critical to long term success with your authority niche site.Being able to land your information, reviews and yes sales pitches into someones email inbox is extremely powerful. So of course, being a good little internet marketer I created my own mailing list over at ApinaPress, with the aim of providing help and advice on HTML, CSS and Wordpress for newbies and experienced folk alike.I wrote like a demon

Hey all,Just a quick update regarding the plugin I made AP Schema, the plugin has now been downloaded 101 times! So 100 other people have had an interest in it! I am really happy about this. So, though I have had no major feedback on it yet (though I have had about 2 mailing list sign ups which is ok), I will definitely be booking some time in the near future to revisit it and work a few issues out, notably the styling and the placement at the top of the post.

If like me, you are an avid fan of Jay and his WAbinars, you will have watched his awesome on called Ninja SERPs Strategies. If not it is well worth checking out. From watching the WAbinar and reading the forum responses and the live chat discussions, it became clear that Rich Snippets or Schema is not something that most people can get to grips with easily. I will happily admit that it took me some time to understand and there's bits I still need to look up quite often. So I decided to create

If you're just getting started as an affiliate marketer and you're not still not 100% convinced that working for yourself is a smart career decision, here's a dose of motivation from a guy who's been there.Billy Murphy realized quite early on in his career that a traditional job wasn't for him. In his post Betting on Yourself, he talks about why entrepreneurship is the most sensible career choice for anyone who's hungry for more than the traditional 9-5 job.Main takeaways of the article are:Bet

Email marketing is an important aspect of Internet Marketing as a whole, and like everyone here who is building an authority site I have a list (a very small one) which I am trying to build. Using an Autoresponder is vital in this situation, as it allows you to schedule and auto post emails over a length of time, and when a new person joins your list, it send them all to them, one at a time, invaluable! So of course when I started out, I had zero cash to outlay on an autoresponder, as it simpl

I was doing some research on my site today, as I wanted to know which were the most popular links being clicked. I was a plugin called Simple URLs but there are others that do a similar job, PotPieGirl for instance recommends PrettyLinks. Anyway, I dont get much info from the plugin except that it counts the number of times the link is clicked. (as an aside I *should* be making sure each links has a separate link ID so I know exactly which ones get clicks

Hey all, So the other day I was in the live chat (where else do I go??) and one member was having an issue with domains and Godaddy up-sells (another story perhaps). Anyway, one thing lead to another and I mentioned about Namecheap and that they don't really up-sell apart from their WhoisGuard option. Now in order to explain what this was I did a little research on another members site and was shocked to realise he didn't have this service turned on! OK I'm rambling

I am not a big sports fan, too many hours playing FPS and RPG computer games for that. Anyway, one sports event draws a huge crowd no matter what, the Olympics. This year it is occurring in my home country, my home capital city, London. Now the laws in the UK aren't too bad but sometimes get a bad press, at home and abroad, certainly at home lol, and whilst I know discussing politics is never an easy topic, I need to bring this to peoples attention purely because of the potential impac
