Don't Confuse Adsense with Adwords

Last Update: July 16, 2010

Folks don't confuse putting up an ADSENSE site with bidding on CPC Adwords.

There are those here that think you should not go after higher paying clicks from adsense because the competition is too high.

With Adsense you get Paid for clicks...

With Adwords you are Paying for clicks...

Now most here do article marketing and you are taught to find low competition words related to the item you are promoting. This is correct. ...I'm not going to go again about SEO stuff you all just need to learn it.

Now with an adsense optimized  site...like a blogger blog or a mini-website you  want to attract the highest paid ads you can.  So when you blog or put content on a website you want to work in the words that will trigger Google to put those ads on. That's why they call it AD SENSE.   They sense what you are writing about and put relative ads to compliment your content.

There is nothing to say you can't shoot for the higher paying words. Let's say you have a blog or site thats geared toward young ladies and how to do beauty tips, skin and nail care.. Your website would need to be ranked with low competitive keywords and you should know how to do that.

HERE'S A FREEBIE PAY ATTENTION:

Lets say you blog about the proper care and treatment of your finger nails and you just happen to mention you'd like to try some Barielle nail strengthener because your nails always break all the time... You've heard about it but can't seem to find it anywhere...OK do you think Adsense just might put an ad or ads for Barielle nail products?

Now go to the googles adword tool:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal?forceLegacy=true

Look up finger nail care. Make sure you click on the tab to show avg. CPC. Now check out the Barielle products and the CPC they get. There are lots of other words there that get little clicks and little money. But you are talking about Barielle products. You mention these products and how hard they are to find and you've heard they are the best..

Now your site is optimized for say "teen tips for makeup"  and it is ranked...You've just mentioned Barielle products. Do you think there is a chance Google will put those Big Bucks Barielle ads on your site?  Do you think that when you start talking about Barrielle products  people might be curious see and click on the ads?

Do you know you can be an affiliate for Barielle Products through shareasale and the commission is 15%? That beats Amazons 4% But with adsense you could actually make more money with clicks than actual sales of the products.

Now remember this is an adsense site. You should never recommend anyone to ever click on those ads and NEVER click on them yourself.  Remember, they don't have to buy. They just have to click and YOU GET PAID.

Do you see the possibilities?  Now how many other high money products pertaining to young ladies do you think you could find and mention in your blogs and articles?

This time I'm not going to give a list...THINK about all the things a young girl might need, want, or be interested in.

There are lots of people that think adsense is dead...but I make thousands of dollars a month with adsense sites. Good Luck.

I give credit where credit is due and that is perhaps one of the best pieces of advice I've ever read. PERIOD.

Great food for thought on this. Never thought of that and it is almost like a light just came on.
