There really is no magic formula
Hey all, it has seriously been three months since I last posted anything, but during that time I really have learned a ton of information about internet marketing.
A few months ago I couldn't tell you the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org.
I now use a website called posterous.com, and that allows anyone to enter any domains they have (doesn't matter who hosts them), such as blogger, twitter, wordpress.com blogs, Tumblr, and many, many more, to be able to add content to all of these sites by just sending whatever email you write to posterous. It knows what to do and adds the post for you. Simply go there and set up an account. It is pretty cool if you ask me.
It helps establish your name and get content on different places on the net.
Apart from that, I have been adding content to additional websites, and focusing mostly on being an amazon affiliate.
My next task is to really start driving traffic to a couple of my sites, and I think I am going to start commenting on blogs and forums that are relevant to my sites. Oh, and not to mention getting a few .gov and a couple .edu backlinks for SEO purposes.
Article writing is good but I haven't spent too much time doing that just yet, but I have found that I have taken a liking to Articlesbase.com. They seem to rank well and approve articles fairly quickly.
Haven't had much luck with Squidoo lenses. That could be due in part to me not putting a major amount of effort into that, but I am starting to think I prefer other methods anyways.
Anyway, I think I am close to being ready to start building a list. I know it is important, but I do have many questions. I will probably opt to go with aweber in the next week or so.
If anyone has any tips about sending emails to their lists, please feel free to let me know.
Until later
