It's not always your fault, you know, and it's not always a matter of will power. You can have the strongest will in the world and still eventually succumb to an addiction. Very often, it's chemical. There are physical, mental, and emotional causes for addictions. The physical ones seem easier to overcome. Find the reasons for an addiction, and you'll control it. You want to be in control of your own life, so make it a priority to root out anything that diminishes the quality of your life.

Ralph Waldo Emerson Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Every year at this time I hear friends and family talk about how they are going to get it together at last.  I absolutely believe them and I do the same thing every single year. We all make New Year's  resolutions. Our intentions are stalwart on December 31st. Don't even suggest that any of these great new strategies or goals will fail to materialize, such as:  the healthy new diet plan, the work goals, the organizational plans, plans to spend more time with loved ones, plans to e

Just want to share a few thoughts before going back to decorating house for Christmas. We are all blessed by just being here together, learning this new form of communication, this new business model, meeting people from all over the world and learning from each other daily. It is certainly a privilege to be here, not to be taken for granted for one minute. Sure it gets confusing at times, but so what? It all comes out in the wash in the end. Confusion is not really a problem,  just a tempo

Not fun this week. Fun now. But not yesterday and not the day before. This city girl doesn't like nature living with her, unless, of course,  it's human, dog or cat. I love animals, but it's a universal kind of love, and very exclusive. Had an intruder in my office earlier this week,  which I thought was a bird. My house is an old carriage house that was built in the middle of a bird sanctuary.  I 'm used to birds getting in. I don't like it, but every once in a while a nosy grack

New year is approaching, and this is the year I have decided to blow it out of the water. Sorry folks, I'm not happy treading water. Not my style. I realize you have to crawl before you walk, but now it's time to run.  Had a pow wow with my sister yesterday. We're both designers and we partner in many business ventures. I have been educating her about IM as WA educates me, to wit, both of us are a work in progress. But then again, isn't everyone a work in progress? We're both good students

Experimenting with a series of 300 page articles per RX from Sylviane.  Sylviane suggested in a forum comment that shorter articles: 300-400 words convert better than longer articles. Since I am after conversions as well as backlinks, I am following Sylviane's advice. Looks like people have been reading my 750-1000 page articles, but even I know that is excessive for this purpose. I think the habit of writing long articles is just that, a habit. If more can be accomplished with less, then I
