Hate To Leave, But .....
It looks like it's been more than a week since I did anything here. 've been busy. My day job alone takes up more than its fair share of my time - but it's a good job, so I'm not complaining. The other time bandit is - - -
Fear
Some call it procrastination. Other's call it writer's block. Whatever has been keeping me from writing articles and taking necessary actions - I think it's linked to fear. Like if I do something, I'm going to get it wrong, and the money won't want to come my way.
I'm almost proud to say that these last few days, I've gotten over it . . I think. I put up a Squidoo lens called Fresh Starving Crowds. I wrote an article about Mass Control Marketing and got it published already. (still pending at ezine.) And I've straightened out some technical things with a free mailing list I plan to use soon.
By the way, the Squidoo lens ( Fresh Starving Crowds ) was inspired by a post by Pot Pie Girl, where she said to use Squidoo as a landing page. This is not exacly like a landing page, because it is not strictly about the product. It's more of a content page with links to the sales page.
While I'm on the subject, the sales page is a Clickbank product. But not just any Clickbank product. It is an opportunity to learn traffic building shortcuts from Kelly Felix (AKA the Rich Jerk) and Mike Long, who recently wrote about his role in the famous product launches this past decade. The name of the product is Bring the Fresh and I had to receive special permission from the owners to market it.
Bottom line - I've been busy. But I haven't said what the busiest part of my schedule is - after the day job. There is another community that has started. It's called Boundless Living Elite. It includes training in Internet Marketing, but not like here. And Internet Marketing is only one of the areas of training. Everyone who joined has personal goals they want to accomplish, and this community is what will help them.
Since I was one of the early members of Boundless Living Elite I got to be leader of a group ... online marketers. I thought if I start a group like that, it will force me to concentrate and learn a lot more.
Soon I will be launching a new website for teachers who want to succeed in life, not just in the classroom. On this I haven't really been procrastinating as much as waiting to get other things out of the way first. I'll be using ideas that I picked up from WA along with a few ideas I picked up from other sources. And I am hopeful it will help me reach my goals.
As I write this, I'm suddenly aware of the benefits of taking action. Once you start, don't stop. Once you start taking action, the next action is a cinch, and everything follows smoothly from there.
Keep a smile on your face and a dance in your feet
