Ok Knucklehead - NO MORE EXCUSES!
It's amazing how we try and come up with excuses to help justify what we as humans do or DON'T DO!
My big excuse was school. While I would try and get some of my schoolwork done during the week, I usually waited until Sat. and Sun. to get a bulk of it done. It drove my wife NUTS!
Nonetheless, I submitted my last assignment yesterday and have unofficially completed my BA. What does this mean???
I CAN NO LONGER USE SCHOOL AS MY CRUTCH!
I have some pretty hefty goals that I want to achieve. 15 articles a day? That's what I'd like to do. At this point, I can probably get done 15 articles in an hour or two. Not a lot of time, but it is a lot of work. Wanna hear what get's me stoked about this?
15 articles a day x 30 days = 450 articles.
If only 5% of those articles hit with an average of $30 per sale, I am now at $675 for that month. That means that if I only need 22 sales for that batch of 450 articles. I don't think that's impossible, do you?
OK Mike, how long is this going to take? Well I said that I myself can do 15 articles between one to two hours. So let's take the happy medium of 1.5 hours per day.
1.5 hours x 30 days = 45 total hours
45 total hours = $675
$15 per hour of work.
Not bad for a couple of hours online at home or at a lunch, etc. Oh and the best part? That's only for one month. Imagine if I do that for 3 straight months?
First month - $675
Second month - $1350
Third month - $2025
TOTAL - $4050
Hours worked - 135
Profit per hour - $30
This doesn't include the fourth month if I choose to not do anything. That's the cool thing about article marketing. Your content can stay out there for years to come!
Now this is just having fun with numbers, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility. Yes, 450 articles a month is a lot! Can it be done? YES!
See I have no more excuses. I'm finished with school (and now I get to start paying for it...). My wife still thinks that I'm wasting my time with this crap (only because I've been chasing this dream for a while).
It's time to stop making excuses and start getting to work!
Oh, well we'll prove them wrong, some day :)
