Sure Internet Marketing Isn't All Peaches...
...but who ever said it was?
There are some pretty ridiculous statements flying around here lately that there's a misconception about WA.
That misconception is that WE ALL THINK THE WA is all peaches and cream.
Who in the world ever said that?
Must be someone just imagining things?
We all simply choose to conduct ourselves in a positive manner right?
After all, negativity will get you NOWHERE fast!
No one ever claimed that this was easy. As a matter of fact, if you look some of my previous posts, I make mention that this is the hardest thing (aside from my family) that I have ever done!
Why?
Because I'm learning a whole new world! It's like learning to read for the first time!
Did I ever say this internet marketing thing was easy?
Did I ever say that WA was God's gift to Internet Marketing?
No
and
No!
What this is however is a platform for ALL of us to learn and do well. Guess what?
I'm choosing to learn and do well.
What are you doing?
For those that are afraid of success shall critically judge those with that very success that you want.
At the end of the day, it is up to YOU, the marketer, to make things happen for yourself!
I am not ASKING Kyle and Carson or PotPieGirl or JDPacero or anyone else that I talk to show me their success! Their success is proven in the way the conduct themselves. Nothing more.
How much money they make IS NOT GOING TO PAY MY BILLS! Whether they tell me or not isn't going to guarantee that's what I'm going to make.
Do you ask your boss or co-worker at work to see their W-2 or their pay stubs?
Why should internet marketing be any different?
I would be embarrassed to ask to see someone's income statement! It's not my business!
What I ask them for is guidance. Some help. I don't want someone to "give" me the answer. I just want some help in finding it!
For those posting successes, it's one thing, but anything more than that - it's just not needed.
No one here has anything to justify to anyone.
It's like asking to see my pay stub from my job.
Guess what?
It's not your business!
If you feel that you NEED to see someone's income, then you need to take your $40 a month and head for the hills because you aren't going to make it here...sorry.
I don't want people to start assuming the attitude that "this isn't all peaches".
Why?
Because this very forum and the WA space allows us to interact with like-minded people that are going to SUPPORT each other!
We all try and keep a positive attitude within the forum because it HELPS US SUCCEED!
We all know what it's like out there.
Did you ever say it was easy? I know I NEVER said it was easy!
Does that mean though that I need to be simple minded?
No!
What it means is that I CHOOSE TO KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!
My Goodness! If you don't keep a positive attitude, what in the world do you suppose you're going to accomplish?
Listen, chances are, you're going to fail 7-10 times at whatever campaign you run.
It's what you do with the other 3 times that matters.
I come to the WA everyday because I KNOW that there are people who are pulling for me to succeed!
I know that there are people that I AM PULLING FOR TO SUCCEED!
Please don't get caught up in erroneous posts about the "reality" of internet marketing.
Most of us understand the reality of it, we just choose to keep a better attitude about it.
It is for this reason why those who remain positive will succeed while those who preach negativety won't.
It's stinks, but sometimes it really is that simple.
I'll see EVERYONE again tomorrow with a smile on my face!
It would seem to me that doing the very things that are not working over and over again, will not make you a successful affiliate marketer. Maybe what we need is more constructive words as to why something is not working for that person.
I would never suggest that I do not have time to spare for the debbie downers, maybe understanding the frustration and helping others is more positive than just slamming someone in the forum. There are many hard working affiliates here that need more than just a positive attitude. They need hope and belief that in this business they can make money. These very people are the ones that most likely you are selling products to. Now, where did I hear that is it not about you, but about the reader? When we put content out there, how about making it positive and offer suggestions why it may not be working.
In my opinion, I positive post is one that is not cruel, but one that offers hope for others, even those that are frustrate or debbie downers. You see, when I read the posts, I see that others are struggling and not giving up. This for me is positive. And who said that it was going to be easy. This is life after all. If it was that easy the 98% stats would be-98% of affiliate marketers make a full time income. I was asked a question recently, so please can someone answer this for me, because I couldn't.
The 98% that make the money, do they make most of their money from selling products to other desperate affiliates?
