Why did I join WA and why do I want to make a career out of Internet Marketing? I have asked myself these very important questions many times over the past year or so. In order to answer these questions, I needed to take a good look at myself and where my life had taken me.

My son has recently graduated from high school and started his college education with a goal of obtaining a Master's Degree in Astrophysics. My daughter started Middle School, which is the beginning of a very difficult period for a girl. I was struggling with my job, feeling trapped and directionless. I never went to college (unless you count the business computer school that ripped me off when I was too young to know any better) and have been working my way up in the company from an entry level customer service job. I volunteered for new tasks and learned everything I could about the company and the industry.

Finally, all of my hard work paid off and I was given an amazing opportunity - to be the Operations Manager of our new manufacturing facility! Unfortunately, along with the substantial pay increase came the 65-70 hour work weeks and a cell phone "tether" that allows anyone to reach me at any time via email, phone call or text. I was seeing less and less of my family, my house was a mess, and worst of all, my teenage daughter was not getting the support she needed from her Mom when she needed it the most. So much for my dream job!

To make a long story short and to answer my two questions:

I joined WA because of the limitless possibilities I see with the training, mentoring and community.

I want to make a career out of Internet Marketing because I can make a difference not only in my own life, but also in the lives of others, and I can focus my time and effort on what matters most to me, my family
