I know absolutely nothing about affiliate marketing, but I do understand how to run a business (been there, done that). As a professional writer, I figured it was time to quit beating the bushes for pennies and use my skills more profitably. In short, that's why I'm here.

My blog posts will follow my progress step by step in order to hopefully be a help to others, particularly as this new venture turns profitable.

Who am I? I was born in Denver, CO and traveled all over the US as a navy brat. My mom was very artistic and came from a long line of musicians, painters, sculptors, and designers. My dad came from pioneer stock, but was brilliant in that he was well educated and extremely mechanically inclined.

As for me, I inherited my love of writing from my mother, my infatuation with how things work from my dad. I love pickup trucks as long as they're Fords. I have a soft spot in my heart for all animals, insects, and reptiles. I'm particularly fond of spiders and never ever kill them.

I got my degree from the University of Washington in microbiology (had to know more about the little things on which all life depends. I'm interested in all things science and all things science fiction.
