This came up in a forum post so I thought it would good to blog about it.
Why is it that different people can take the same or similar action and get a different result? When people create similar IM campaigns why is it that more often than not the results are so different. One succeeds far more than the other.
There could be other variables at play I know but consider this explanation if you will.
Attitude. It is such a huge difference maker. The power it brings to our lives is unmeasurable, bo
Need some buddy advice please.
Ok, something is very different now. Google traffic to my sites is way off since 7/13. Down over 80% to just a trickle.
I figure it is either the Google conversion to the Cafeine index process or the migration of the hosting servers here at WA.
At first I thought it was the Google conversion but research indicates that it occurred back in June. Have been noticing the more frequent visit of the Google bot.
So I suspect that the migration of my sites from the
I have spent months converting a recommendation site into a content site.
Prior to beginning the conversion process I was generating about $100/mth. Just enough to keep my interest.
But as I began to implement the changes sales fell off. I would see traffic from the search engines as expected but the sales weren't there. They would look at a couple of pages and be gone. So I had trouble converting that traffic. Maybe there were the free info seekers or maybe I didn't build an effective p
This IM thing has been a huge emotional roller coaster for me. Is that normal?
I am not usually an overly emotional guy. Steady, even keeled, or unflappable have been used to describe me.
But working in IM has tested my nature.
When I have the occasional sale or learn and implement something new, I am filled with such joy and anticipation. Especially remember that first sale back in Nov of '08. I was running around the room high 5ing everyone there. That was a Clickbank product.
I am mostly an article marketer. Not very happy with the results to date.
Do you think Twitter might be the answer to a high level of qualified visitors?
A few dozen visitors per day is all I am seeing from over 100 articles and a very limited PPC campaign. Which gets me very few hops. Even fewer sales.
Would Twitter be a good way to build traffic to say hundreds per day?
Do you have a better suggestion?
I am just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback, advice or help with my IM efforts.
I have been on the this project for some time now. I have built some websites, add pages of content, built a blog, etc. etc....all in the golf niche.
While I get a few Adsense clicks a day, I get precious few sales. Nothing consistent or that I can see a trend worth pursuing.
I have that "I must be missing something" feeling more frequently now. Don't care for that feeling very much.&nbs
