WA Forum Activity All-Time Low???

I've made a few posts in the WA forum lately and I'm seeing its less active than it used to be about 1 year ago. Often when I posted 1 year ago, 2 people were usually right on the ball for helping me (Richard & Bruce) along with many other people. This leads me to question if the new dashboard is having an effect on the forum? Is everybody starting to use blogs to answer questions now instead of the forums now? I mean after all, people can like your blogs now and you can't like forum posts....

I agree with whats being said and look forward to the updates Carson is talking about. The concept of a forum isn't bad but the way it take you to a whole different site is a little cumbersome which makes the blogs that much better. Some integration of the two like Carson is talking about would be awesome.

I've always enjoyed your forum & I've always thought it was a great way to communicate between others. Just yesterday I had actually visited a post made 1 year ago that gave me information about a certain topic. Many of those old posts in there offer valuable information to people even today. So I think the forum is a great source of information, whether how active it is or not.

I'm pretty excited to see any future plans you all have with WA anyway!

I believe Jay also had mentioned during one of the WAbinars that Kyle and Carson where going to phase it out...not 100% certain on this though so may be worth asking the guys directly.

I think the forum is starting to get outdated. It is so much easier to get people to respond to you if you write a blog post. About the only thing I still use the forum for now days is if i need to PM a member about something. This new system has changed everything including the way we use blog posts to get help.

"and everyone sees it." - Well sort of. Your blog could fall off the page before you get a good answer. With a forum the post wont fall. Once there is a blog search function that is similar to the forum search, then the blog will truly become useful. For example I saw a blog a while back that I liked about backlinking and I can't find it for the life of me. Anyway, with a search function I think it would work out ok.
