All my work with Click Bank for nothing!!

Last Update: July 08, 2010

When I started i did clickbank like so many do.  I made over time a huge $89!! but then my early campaigns dried up and I havent made anything for a while (im not currently promoting clickbank products but putting my energies elsewhere)  as it wasnt enough I could not draw any money out and they just kept taking my money this until there was very little of it left.  Of course we have to agree to them doing this when we join if we want to use clickbank, we dont really have a choice.

I do not consider this ethical so I have closed my clickbank account.  I may have to agree if i use them, but I dont have to use them.

Clickbank does charge a fee each pay period after an account is dormant with no sales for 90 days. It starts a $1 per pay period, goes up to $5 per pay period after 180 days of inactivity, then something ungodly, like $50 after a full year of inactivity. It's in their accounting policy. Easy way to avoid it if you aren't selling much through them is to sell yourself something every once in awhile.. hehe.. Seriously though, put up a blog site on something that sells good like The Magic of Making Up, or a DIY product, put some articles out there, and you'll make enough sales to keep your account active, even if it's only one every month or two.

Wow. I haven't been excited about ClickBank, though I didn't know that. Thanks Moonstone.

Oh no! Thank you for the warning, Moonstone. BTW, I'm enjoying using Market Samurai for product research. I'm starting to become much quicker at harvesting promising keywords. Blogged yesterday about one of the programs that's been helpful in conjunction with Market Samurai. ~ Maureen
