Step 1 of my recovery to My Internet Marketing Addiction

In an attempt to cure myself of my Internet Marketing Product Addiction my First Step was to Join WA (Wealthy Affiliate)

See, in the past, I purchased every Internet Marketing Product in sight! I spend a fortune and a ton of time on these products, yet never implemented any of the techniques I learned. I just kept them sitting there on my hard drive, doing nothing. I would open them up from time to time, read & study - and then lock them away.

I finally made a decision I was going to change!! I was finally going to put these tips, techniques and methods into practice in my own Internet marketing business!! Hooray!!

Unfortunately, I couldn't pull the trigger on Joining WA!

Like many of you it took me quite some time to actually join WA.

Every day I would visit the site and read all of the benefits of membership and it was clear to me this was a program I wanted to be a part of. The benefits of the membership were awesome, and there was a income producing <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document" /> <meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 9" /> <meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 9" /> <link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:/DOCUME~1/BELLHE~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/msoclip1/03/clip_filelist.xml" /> <style></style><span font-size:="" 12pt;="" font-family:="" times="" new="" roman="" ;="">Component. I wanted and needed that membership. But, I told myself I was not going to join and spend the money unless I was going to put what I would learn into action.

The things that I especially needed/wanted were:

The Click bank tool

Site Rubix

Rapid Writer

Niche Q

Forum

And of course the idea that I could promote the program and actually get paid was also appealing (although in the back of my mind I knew I would never probably follow through and actually market the program)

I still could not justify the price!

So, I Procrastinated Some More.

So, I signed up for Kyle & Carson's mailing list ..

Every few days I would get a great email from them - not high pressure, just the facts. I would go to the site, study the features & benifits. Powerful

The bonus’s – finally put me over the edge. I got an email offering 3 free Information Products if I would sign up - Beating Adwords, Inside the List, and Who Loves Money.

I figured I would sign up, get the 3 info products, nose around for 20 days and then cancel.

Boy, am I kicking myself for not joining sooner.

See, something was finally different!

See, my attitude had finally changed - and the message I received was just what I needed to get me to take action.

The funniest part was the reasons I joined WA (The tools) have been the least helpful to me, what has been of more help is the forums, blogs & Community. These are people like me – in the trenches – fighting the good fight and winning! People I can relate to and relate with. This is what I have been searching for.

I Did not join WA for the business opportunity aspects (although I will be promoting the site via affiliate links on some of my sites) – instead joined for the tools & community – and I have not been disappointed!!

This is a living-breathing community of like minded people.

I am so glad I found WA and decided to become a member. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me and I hope to help as many of you along the way as I can.
