Today's post focuses on uplifting, encouraging, and helping you fill in a few extra blanks.  When we are new to Internet marketing, affiliate marketing may not appear real until we're already seeing steady profits.

So how do you build your confidence to maintain that steady work getting you to paid points?

Here's What You Can Do NOW -- Prove Affiliate Marketing Is Real

Step 1)  Head over to your favorite department store site

Step 2)  See if you can locate the word "affiliate" at the bottom page of that site

Step 3)  Click on the affiliate part of that site to find terms and conditions

Step 4)  What you're wanting to answer are these questions:

* How do I get paid if I attract people to the  site? 

* What do I get paid per lead? 

* When do I get paid and How? Is it through the company?

* Am I paid for every lead I generate?  If not, do I get paid per action when someone fills out a survey or offers their contact information?

Clarify every detail ahead of time so you offset misunderstandings arising as a result of not having enough information.

If you can answer the first few questions, you will answer the other questions.

* This exercise is designed to help you overcome irrational fears, identify what's real, and problem-solve concretely.

You're wanting to find out what must happen by you to get pay into your hands.

*  Then see if you can pin down these questions to answer a more immediate need directing your actions:

1)  What has to happen to get the traffic?

2)  Am I writing articles and building mini sites (or landing pages)?

3)  What do I do to "seal the deal"? 

The deal with a potential customer might mean that you're just getting their name and email address for the company (generating that lead for pay). 

The deal might mean that the potential customer only has to fill out something and you get $1 per action.

4)  You want to specify what those deals involve.  

This information helps you identify and target your actions online so that you can get the job done fast but effectively.

5)   Then go into the buddy networks here to get add'l questions answered.

Affiliate marketing can set you free.  It can also lead to other projects and profits! 

Here's something else about online marketing.  A lot of people still don't know what it is.  If you try to tell anyone who isn't in this industry, they can't know.

So the answer is -- connect to those who do.

In affiliate marketing, you are looking for direct ways that grab peoples' attention online, hold interest, and encourage inquiries to take an action benefiting them and the company you represent.

When you learn how to do these things, it will move you into more advanced skills you can later apply to build your own thing (product creation).

Baby steps...baby steps...persistence...consistence.
