Article Marketing Is a Good First IM Strategy

Last Update: November 04, 2009

Hello Fellow WA Buddies!

Today's blog addresses article marketing for a good, first Internet marketing (IM) strategy, but before I get into why, I'll tell you how blog content is created. Check out forum posts and see if you can't find ways to solve people's current problems. What you're after is the chance to get 'hands-on training' by offering your aid or by referring people to places and resources inside of the WA site.

Real Time Content

To share real time content with other WA folks, I head to my in-box for messages daily. This morning, I had 5 folks asking questions on various Internet marketing issues.

One guy wasn't sure if he should use article marketing first or get into pay-per-click advertising.

Diagnosis Targets The Problem

You can spare unnecessary cash outlays if you focus on article marketing first. Reasons for this approach are best related to knowing what you're doing before you outlay any cash. By getting certified in article marketing first, you're armed with what has to happen in order to get your articles ranked with the major search engines. More importantly, you're testing content before you place it on a website. Now..., if certification isn't your personal preference, you can still outsource articles. If you choose to write articles for yourself, most new folks later learn how to optimize their content because article content is built around a central keyword phrase.

I'm not recommending people start ppc until they've had some IM under their belts for at least a few months, or so. But..., if there are WA buddies reading this information and they disagree, I'll  just tell you that I'm a very conservative business person. That's because it takes time to build a sustainable business people trust.

Pay-per-click advertising requires additional learning. WA offers certification coursework in this area too because it's a great way to advertise yourself within WA by securing work-for-pay. This is the seed money you'll need to launch your first IM campaign, but more importantly you want to build your way into ppc. This is true because it takes time to build a complette infrastructure, test it, operate it further and then refine it.

Articles drive traffic to your campaign. If you haven't  zeroed in on a hungry audience, you can't know what people will precisely want..., nor will you be able to test the responsiveness of your smaller segmented market if you step directly into ppc too soon (without having conducted some research and testing).  That's true if you're not entirely certain as to what ppc entails so new marketers can easily misdirect their ads and spend early business money.

Articles give you a chance to refine your content built around a few of your keyword phrases. Early campaign builds will involve a few starter elements (like an affiliate site, your own blog, or a landing page).

Both article and ppc certifications are safe courses for new folks, but if you're not sure about anything, still ask Kyle, Carson, and our proven superaffiliates. I'm a big fan of saving people unnecessary cash donations when they haven't consistently used free means first. Yes..., it takes longer to build your business, but you're not going broke before you have a decent chance to launch yourself.  Advocates of 'quick money' may not tell you that you can spend hundreds or even thousands of $$'s in ppc advertising because a marketer didn't know what was entirely involved. This is stated with respect.

Shifting Gears --

Sharing how I create blog titles because this gets you early traffic and it allows you to test content. I create blog titles based on the content you see here. I write content to problem-solve someone's question. Marketers who thoroughly problem-solve a lot of peoples' problems are the ones who can be highly-paid.
