LIVE WA UPDATE ON SERVERS
Guys and Gals,
I'm placing this content here to make sure you see this update regarding WA Blog & Funnel Systems:
1) If you formed your blogs on July 8th, you used DNS nameservers NS1 and NS2...
2) If you formed another blog or multiple blogs AFTER July 8th...such as late in July or during early August, your DNS nameservers correspond to the new WA servers...DNS NS3 and NS4 WA hosting.
3) This is Kyle's forum post, verbatim. I want you to see this content in several places so you don't miss it. Sometimes, in forum interaction, we don't readily see what's current.
OK folks...
Today we have updated our hosting to a new
powerhouse server. We are running multiple servers, but one of them was
lagging slightly and had the occassional downtime, so we have beefed up
this hosting and it is now running very quickly. If your domains were
the first ones hosted on ns3/ns4 this will apply to you...even though
ns3/ns4 is now spread out amongst many servers.
Anyways,
speed, optimization performance upgrade done. Many of you will have
noticed that you have lost access to the control panel. This is
currently getting upgraded as well.
Also, many of you may have
noticed that you cannot add new plugins, update existing or add new
themes. Also if you cannot create a Wordpress Express, this is also
relational to one server...This is an issue that we have run into in
the update process and will be available at some point tomorrow
(fingers crossed). This does not in any way affect the performance of
your site and you can still update your existing sites.
So
update has been performed successful, and there are still a few more
permission and control panel updates in progress. Thanks for your
patience here and we will keep you updated with the progress.
Cheers,
Kyle
FINAL POINT: KINDLY SAVE EVERYTHING YOU WRITE INTO NOTEPAD ON YOUR COMPUTER...THEN CUT/PASTE INTO YOUR BLOG/WEBSITE/EMAILS/ETC. DO THIS FOR ALL AD COPY SO YOU ALWAYS HAVE YOUR FILES SAVED ON YOUR HARD-DRIVE.
Document passwords and FTP log-in's. If you try to change FTP log-in's because of a forgotten pw (such as when you have both another web host + WA hosting), this will spare you nightmares of having to uninstall blogs and start all over again just to remember your WordPress FTP pw.
Hang in there. Try not to let these challenges bog you down too long. If you have to go for a walk, I'll will tell you that I go the gym when I can't stand the delays. I run, lift weights, and do Taekwondo until I can't stand up. This way, you get rid of any nervous energy so you can stay calm and relaxed.
