Publishing Effortlessly At Street Articles - How To Guide

Last Update: May 04, 2011

Welcome WA Buddies !

Today's post tells you how to publish at Street Articles using common sense.

You've probably heard a million things about article marketing and how to do it best.

Truth-be-told -- In the most exclusive article marketing networks, the secret is not released.

Article marketing can be an extensive process, especially if it means finding  low competition keyword phrases that get results (traffic and CTR's...click through rates leading to purchase).  What's that?  I'll let you in on a secret.  I outsource keyword research.  But.., if that's not affordable right now, you can spot keywords by heading to a favorite website.  The words you'll see relate to a topic...like restaurants.

What are the keyword phrases?

Think Italian Restaurant..., and related words like tomato..., red checkered tables, spaghetti, ravioli.  To spot a keyword phrase that gets results, just head over to your favorite department store. Whatever you need as a consumer, that's the keyword phrase that pays.  The golden phrase is usually related to a specific brand name...one that someone enters into a search when they're ready to buy something very, very specific.  Think along those lines, and you'll eventually identify what you need for your own campaigns.

Article Marketing Is A Process...But It Can Be Easy

When I first started to write 30 articles, I still didn't know what I was doing.  The key thing is to write..., write..., and write.  You're after actions...where people will do one of a few things:  1) borrow your content for their websites... but reference your name...2)  read your content...and perhaps rate it for add'l feedback..., 3) build quality links leading people from your articles to your website/blog.  The last point is most important.

Articles start the flow of traffic...moved from 1 place to another !

Articles build your expertise online.

Zeroing In On Keywords That Pay

Think in terms of a niche and the products that are moved in that niche.

If it's exercise and fitness...targeting women between the ages of 20 - 40...,  the general but not yet targeted keywords will be "firm thighs and butt"..., "flat tummy"..., "firm arms and back", "slimmer legs".

You can pick up a favorite magazine for solid ideas, but pay close attention to the content you read there.  It will help you see top ad copy.  The keywords that pay will refer to some system or group of exercises...or a specific product like the thigh master... designed to produce a general result like losing 2 inches off your waist in 1 week.  The 2 inches off your waist in 1 week is the article topic.  The keyword phrase that pays could reference a specific product you own...in the form of what's called a private label right (PLR) or a system you've created to help someone shed that unwanted weight.

So when you first start writing, if you hit these phases -- it's completely normal.  Keep going.

1)  You first hit the wall

2)  Then you start to read other people's content

Go to top blogs on the net

Track some favorite marketers

Check out the blogs inside of WA for ideas

3)   Work with buddies inside of the 30-Day Article Club

4)   If you outsource keyword research and article marketing, it can become a specified process.  This is not entirely shared in public places because your most sensitive content will be reserved for website publication leading to paid means.

To Get Published At Street Zines

If you're entirely not sure what your keywords will be, it's still good to get a few articles written under your name.  That way, you get the ball rolling while WA works on Street Zines indexing. You can always write articles in other categories leading you to your ultimate campaign!  That's how it sometimes happens.  So be patient with your learning and your marketing.

It is a key advantage to write some small and simple articles at Street Articles.

  • Anything you publish, you can form as a first draft
  • You can delete anything that doesn't work for you
  • Never mind if you struggle a bit with your content
  • Learn by doing
  • Anyone who doesn't like your content isn't doing what you're doing
  • Ask others for input
  • Modify content based on what others tell you
  • Even in draft form, there's a circle you'll see at Street Zines appearing by your first drafted article
  • Click on the circle to view stats
  • Don't let any stats bug you
  • Key thing is to keep writing
  • You will get better over time
  • Pick a favorite topic...something you really dig
  • As you see here...I tend to write along educational "how to" lines because I've had decades of teaching experience and I really jazz helping other people
  • See if you can expand your content to address various topics people will want to read about.

Italian Restaurant As A Starter Exercise --

If we use this example, we could use Uncle Tom's Herbal Spaghetti Sauce (I made up) and talk about how store bought varieties include nasty ingredients people shouldn't ingest...

That's one article.

You could write another article about Ravioli, Hand-Made and include a basic home-made recipe for "at home family fun"...

That's another article.

You could write a third article about red checkered tableclothes that turn a home "staycation" into affordable winter fun.

See if you can form article topics that mix up content ideas, kinda like I did above.  The more combinations you have, the more articles you can form.

Then...take 1 or 2 of these topics over to Street Zines.  You can always hit the "draft" button if you don't want to publish live yet.

Then.., make it a goal that you'll write 2 articles next week and you'll put them up live by the following Friday.

This can be huge fun when you think about visualizing readers looking at your content.  Then..., think about how your topics will fit together so you can move an end product.  That's really what you're doing.  You're building credibility and expertise in a specific area so that people will trust you and follow up on your recommendations.  That's pretty much it.

Final Thought

Your content doesn't have to be difficult.  It can be very simple...like clearing up facial acne in 3 simple, straightforward steps.  The final end product would be introduced ONLY after you've covered the benefit of having clear skin...had at a solid value of _____.

The feeling part you have to convey to your audience is clear to get:

* more dates

* or be more comfortable in front of your favorite person or audience

* a shiny, radiant glow

This is what people buy.  They motivate towards less pain and buy:  1) hope in a jar...leading to beauty, 2) health, 3) and wealth...but make sure that your end offers will greatly over-deliver and be true.  If you don't believe in a product/service, it's best to only move the things you trust in most.

Feel free to post your comments/suggestions at the end of this post !

Toasting Your Success...Absolutely,

bkb2012...Barbara

Just for clarification, I assume you are talking about Street Articles? As it may confuse people calling it Street Zines.
