It Takes 5 Months to Take Off

Last Update: February 24, 2010

I've read somewhere the average stay on WA is 5 months

It took Bigman 5 months to earn his first £.

It took me 5 months to generate my first earnings.

At the end of January, after 4 months at WA, I took on my first client - an online sweet shop. Sice then I've picked up about 1 a week. I've now got 5.

At this rate I'll be needing help! And WA is just the place to come for help.

Someone also clicked through on my forum signature last week which earned me a commission for The Best Spinner. Thanks, whoever you are.

Unlike most of you, I've not progressed article marketing. I'm finding it easier to earn money by taking on clients who need internet marketing help. But I've got loads of BRILLIANT ideas for niches. Ah, the lack of time is sooo frustrating!

So my plan is to build a decent income from clients then pay for someone to write articles for me in these brilliant niches. I'll then soon see if they are brilliant!

Maybe I've taken a different route to many of you. What's the same though is that

I've spent 5 months learning exactly the same basics at WA as everyone else.

I'm just applying it differently.

I've vowed to write a OWM type ebook on setting up in consultancy using the knowledge from WA. PPG filled a gap by creating what she did with OWM and I'd like to be able to do the same with my guide. My style is not dissimilar to hers so I'll follow a similar approach. I'll also ask Jennifer to review it.

Right got to review my latest client - an online musical instrument shop!

Hey Martyn - I was just wondering how you get clients, and what you do for them? I guess I would be interested in your book! :)
