If you are brand new at Squidoo, be sure to join Fresh Squids.  You need to have less than 5 lenses to be a Fresh Squid.  As a member of Fresh Squids, you will not only meet other newbies like yourself, but you will learn more about lensmaking and have fun with contests (great exposure in the contests! -- show Squidoo who you are and what you can do!)
