Oh, the joy of spontaneity! If you're anything like me, you begin to feel bogged down and heavy with all the do this and do that of Internet Marketing. That's why I'm always talking about simplicity. I long for a release from complication IN EVERYTHING. Life in general. I want to cut through all the garbage and arrive at the important stuff without the clutter. I long for an economy, a direct, straight forward means of sending a message to my customer, an uncomplicated way of doing business tha

Two very easy words, but they are packed with power and meaning: DELETE and NO. If you don't learn these two words well, your time will be mortgaged to the hilt,  and your efforts will face possible extinction. That's right. GONE. Wiped out.  I'm not being dramatic, I'm being realistic. You have to guard your mental space just like you protect your physical space. Of necessity, because of the business we are in, we all have multiple email addresses. It's supposed to be a tool to keep u

This is freaky weird. I don't know how it will benefit you as marketers, but you'll get a kick out of it. How in the world did they figure this out? http://www.poodwaddle.com/worldclock.swf>   Enjoy it. Curious to know if you'd have a practical use for it.

Believe it or not, all three of these things relate in a significant enough way to illustrate the point that you can do whatever you "believe" you can do.  It's all up to you. It's all up to me. Be the little engine that "can". Anyway, hope you don't mind, but I've gotten into the habit of spending my lunch break with you. Eating a tomato sandwich on a buttered baguette while we visit. Wish I could share it. It goes back a few years, ahem, but I learned to ride a two w

Thanks to a message from Kyle, I am back on track. It meant  a lot to me. He agrees with the action I am taking to grow my IM niches. Feel more confident now,  that I am in the right direction. Now I'll dig my heels in and make things happen. Thanks Kyle.

Lunch with my WA buddies... Can't answer this issue for you, but I personally don't have the inclination or patience to chew gum after the flavor has gone out of it. You know that annoying feeling...you're chewing something and you wonder why? Every project has to maintain a certain vitality in order to engage your vitality to see it through. My foot's in the mud. Don't worry it's temporary. I know how to pull it out. Letting off some steam by stating the obvious. Experimentation is heady for su

Decided to have lunch with my buddies here. Hope what I say rings a bell for you. Be an artist. Be a "linchpin". And please keep control of your product, whatever it is. It is soooooooo important! Your reputation and profit are at stake. Does this mean fight for what you believe? Maybe. If you have to. You can be tactful, can listen to suggestions, acknowledge what input you feel is correct. But ultimately, it is your creation. Be an artist who has integrity, at least in regard to your

Check this out guys, one from the heart for sure.                      http://www.militarytimes.com/hancock I basically only want to share a big heart in action. Because I'm reading some Seth Godin right now, the marketing mind refuses to rest. I was so touched by this video. I'm reluctant to even imply any kind of marketing here because I am sure that the artist has no such intention. Nor am I

Don't rest on your laurels. Don't be complacent. Keep reaching. Be alive!!! Do what you were put on earth to do. Sing your song as only you can. Forget about looking for security in all the wrong places.  Many people think that by playing it safe, playing by the rules, they're being smart. I've heard friends say they backed up their art career by getting a law degree, or a teaching degree, or an MBA. How about that? A circuitous route to what you are meant to do in life, and what you want t
