While learning IM, and applying what I am learning at WA, I try to spend some time on introspection and meditation. Looking inside myself is just as important as learning about SEO and SERPS and Article Marketing. I am learning that everything starts from within, not from outside. We are here to change our lives in some way for the better. If we want to change, then best start with the basics. Start with deep seated beliefs and conditioned mental responses. Why are we so vulnerable to incons

Guys, this is the only thing that works for me. Be as much like an archer as possible with your ads and articles campaigns. Imagine a target and aim for the center with your bow and arrow. Make sure you know your hungry audience well and go after it directly. Really research keywords thoroughly and make longtails. Circumvent the competition. Don't beat around the bush. Hit em hard, grab them where they live with relevant articles. Just think about what gets you to read an article to th

I hear a lot of talk here at WA from people who are suffering from the pain of "procrastination". I say pain because it is painful. Nobody really wants to procrastinate, especially not someone who is motivated enough to have joined this community with aspirations of becoming a successful Internet Marketer. We all knew when we signed up that we had a ride ahead of us. We knew it would be learning and working. No surprises. Nobody can just give it to you, even if

O.K., so who, beside me,  is celebrating a birthday tomorrow? February 20th! Want to know all of my birthday mates. It's the month of you and me and the presidents. February babies, who are you? Reveal yourselves! By the way, what are you doing to celebrate? I'm going to my favorite restaurant in town with family and friends. Oh yes, I'll write an article too. Not. Let me know what you are doing.  And don't tell me you're writing articles!

Don't forget to tune in to the opening ceremonies tonight:: 9PM EST. 6PM PT NBC. Get an emotional high! Get a good kick in the psychic butt! Learn from the best! Doesn't have to be IM. A winner is a winner. I'm no athlete, but I sure identify with the quest for excellence. Olympic champions are very inspiring, to say the least. You learn focus, courage, triumph over fear, dogged determination, and everything else from them. It's way more than a sport, not that sports aren't great in and of

Just to make you aware, I want to share my experience with Commission Junction. I realize they are considered to be one of the best networks, and they probably are. However, I find them to be sloppy. I feel I am not receiving all my commissions. I recently signed up for a new advertiser account, and sold a big order last week to one of my own clients. CJ didn't record the sale, so I had to call the advertiser, who had record of the order and credited me. Had it not been for the fact that the pur

Being a tortoise isn't all that comfortable, but if it is the way to win the race, then let's carry on. I am learning that you have to be steady, constant, and persistant with IM. Patience is a virtue on land. In cyberspace, it is survival. I'm also learning that this is not a race, but a process that needs to be respected and enjoyed every step of the way. I have to be honest about this. When I read about people writing 100 articles a week, I was blown away. I felt like an idiot. How

This business can make you sedentary. Not good for your health. I just got back from the emergency room where I was treated for kidney stones. It was horrible. I know it happened because I've been carried away, forgetting to move around enough and drink enough water so as not to get dehydrated. If you've ever had kidney stones, you will do anything not to repeat it. So painful. Drink gallons of water and work out or take a walk or something.  I have a feeling we're all kind've typ

The point I am trying to make is that we need to visualize success before we can have it. See where you want to be in a year. It's not just setting goals. We have to see, feel, smell, touch what we are creating. Believe it. Experience it even before anyone else can see it as physical reality. Don't waiver. Don't weaken. Don't doubt. Don't judge.

Very interesting what happens here at WA. This is why I like this community so much. In the beginning, one feels confused and overwhelmed with too many options, too much input. Simplification in everything is a sign of mastery. Simplification that works. You know, less is more. I love the Forum here because members make superb suggestions. Once you get your feet under you, you can take other marketers' suggestions and expand upon them. I know it's time and money consuming, but  experimentat
