I subscribe to a bit of dog stuff. (Who knew) I thought you might enjoy a moment of fun. The Laptop Thief  These are some trainers that are doing protection training. They are highly trained professionals Don't try this at home. The  training is called bite work, you may notice that the subject is heavily padded in special (very expensive) gear. Oh, and the laptop doesn't survive.   Enjoy.

I'm trying to decide how to proceed. My finances have reached a critical point. I'm running on fumes. I have a lot of things working in the IM realm but nothing seems to be bearing fruit.  Lots of flowers but the bees are missing. So, I made the decision to put some resumes out. I would love to keep doing IM full time but it looks like I need to take a breather from full time and get a paycheck until things start hopping. Well, got a call from a headhunter and have an interview on Monday.

I read an interesting perspective this morning on the Affiliate Tax. The bottom line of this article is that Wall-mart is funding the push for affiliate taxes.  This tax is being touted as a benefit to off-line businesses since they already collect taxes in their states.  I am not really opposed to this tax, I think that sales made in a state should collect taxes to its residents.  This is how governments get their revenues. What bothers me is how to track this issue.  I can

I've had an interesting day. Seems one of my articles is having a bumper day. Unfortunately, I have been searching in vain for affiliate programs for the product that this promotes. I heard that Apple sold 1 million of their new IPad 2 this weekend. Seems I have identified the demographic that is buying them. Now, where is the darn affiliate program that will make this darn thing work.  ARRRRRGH.

Once upon a time I released a little stuffed bear. His name was Nikki Bear III and he had a tag wrapped around his neck with a tracking bug.  Well this little fellow bumped around Western NY for a bit. Each time he visited a geocache his location was logged.  Then he decided the Great White North wasn't for him and he took a short trip across the country to the beautiful state of California. Wanderlust was upon him and after a short stay at LAX he decided to visit the little Island of

I had the distinct privilege of attending yet another amazing WAbinar.  If you are new here and haven't discovered this wonderful resource check your top menu for the WAbinars item.  I have attended all but 2 in real time and picked those up the next day when the recordings were posted.  Jay is amazing these should not be missed! They are about an hour each ( some are a bit longer) and worth every minute.  When you are burned out or overwhelmed take some time and view them&nb

I'm Guilty,  well I was guilty. I write articles to the specification, get them approved and then the bar gets raised.  I don't fault Ezine for taking the steps that they feel are required to raise their rankings back to their former glory. ( The wife had a few choice words). So, I had some articles that were substandard.  I slapped them up there and met the former criteria.  They were approved and I was happy. Most of my articles exceed the 400 word length as I couldn't real

So, it looks like there was a bit of a todo over at Google on Thursday. Content farms took a serious hit in the search rankings.  Most of our favorites came out badly,  Ezine got pasted.  Hubpages was right behind, Squidoo, yup them too.  People are quaking in their shoes over this Algorithm change.  So who came out smelling like a rose?  You Tube.  Which brings me to my point.
